MEET OUR FOUNDER
187 Consulting Group was founded in 2001 by entrepreneur and New York native, Mark Bernstein. Mark's passion for over forty years has been to help create and grow businesses and deliver bottom line results.
Mark began his career as Chief Operating Officer & Sr. Vice President of Nobody Beats the Wiz, a $1.3 Billion Consumer Electronics Retailer and retail industry leader for 24 years. He later served as Vice President & Director of Operations for SBCG, an international Business Liqidation Company. In 2001 Mark started his own firm, MB Consulting Group, a consultancy dedicated to helping small to medium sized businesses grow and flourish. Along the way he helped start several other businesses, including Transworld Business Advisors of Manhattan. Specializing in Real Estate, HR, Logistics, Sales, Training, IT, Marketing, Business Valuations and Mergers & Acquisitions and Franchising. Mark is a business financial analyst and consultant who knows how to deliver results, both top line and bottom line. "I know how to make a deal happen."
Mark is the winner of two National Retailer of the Year awards for Nobody Beats the Wiz, a member of the Institute of Management Consultants, USA. Member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), a member of NYABB, member of the National Retail Federation. He attended the City College of New York (CUNY). Mark is passionate about writing, literature, photography, wine & cooking and business.
